THUMBSNAP

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains the information that may be processed when you visit ThumbSnap and use its YouTube thumbnail tool.

1. Information you provide

You can use the current tool without creating an account. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and the contents of your inquiry. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

2. How the tool works

The tool uses the YouTube video link you enter to identify and request available thumbnail images from YouTube’s image servers. The link is used by the tool in your browser to create image preview options. We do not currently offer account registration or a form that asks you to submit personal details.

3. Hosting and technical information

Our website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Like many web hosting and delivery services, the infrastructure used to serve a website may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs. The handling and retention of such information is subject to the provider’s practices and applicable settings. For details, review Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and analytics

At the time of this policy’s latest update, ThumbSnap has not intentionally added Google Analytics or another website analytics service, and it does not currently display advertisements through an advertising network. Hosting or third-party services may still use technical mechanisms necessary for security, delivery, or operation.

5. Third-party services and links

The tool requests thumbnail images from YouTube/Google infrastructure. When your browser connects to third-party services, those providers may receive technical information under their own policies. ThumbSnap does not control the privacy practices of third-party services. Please review the relevant provider policies before using those services.

6. Advertising in the future

If we add Google AdSense or another advertising service, this policy will be updated to describe the relevant advertising technologies and data practices. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve or measure ads, subject to their policies, your settings, and applicable law. Where required, we will provide appropriate notices, choices, or consent mechanisms. Learn more about Google’s advertising technologies and Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. Children’s privacy

ThumbSnap is a general-purpose utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us so we can review the situation.

8. Your choices

You may choose not to email us or use the tool. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some technologies may affect how third-party services work. Rights available to you depend on your location and applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes or new services are introduced. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Please check this page periodically.
